Here we grow again!
When I opened this clinic in 2018, I don’t think I fully realized what I was getting myself into. I loved being a physiotherapist and I believed there was a better way to deliver health care. Having my own clinic would allow me to run my practice the way I wanted to run it and provide a superior patient experience in the process. I wouldn’t need approval to do the things I felt were necessary to provide excellent care; I could utilize my entire toolbox of skills, and ensure a positive working environment. So when I first opened, my goal was to provide the best patient experience and do so in a private treatment room while spending the extra time each patient needs.
It turns out that I’m not the only clinician who believes that hands-on, one on one care in a private treatment room are important pieces of quality care. I have been extremely lucky to team up with 4 of the best physiotherapists who are highly skilled and provide patient centered care. In addition, the support staff is second to none and all of our patients understand how important each staff member is. I am so thankful for the team we have at Cross Works Physiotherapy because that is the reason why we have such a great working environment and an exceptional patient experience. I truly believe the difference is noticeable.
As we continue to grow, I look forward to bringing on new people to join our team. The clinic is expanding and we are putting the finishing touches on a newly renovated space adjacent to our existing clinic. We are looking for clinicians who share our treatment philosophies and make the patient experience a top priority. Quite often I am asked, “Which type of profession are you looking to hire?” The answer is not the type of professional, but the type of person. I am most interested in finding a professional who can work within a team atmosphere, collaborate with staff, and treat patients with quality care. Their title or profession could be physiotherapist, chiropractor, massage therapist, osteopath, or administrative professional, but most important is whether they can contribute to the awesome staff experience we have right now. A positive staff experience will lead to a positive patient experience.
If you are a healthcare professional (ie PT, Chiro, AT, RMT, osteopath, etc) and this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please send us a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can set up meeting to get to know you.
